The 2015 Ram Rebel has landed at Rivershore Ram and just in time for the 0% financing (OAC) for 72 months on till September 30th. From the aggressive Ram branded grille and tailgate to the rugged, imposing stance, the Rebel makes a bold statement even when standing still. Equipped for work and play the distinctive black interior with red accents and the tire tread seat inserts clearly announces that the Ram 1500 Rebel was built for sport.
Personally I am in love with the 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel. It is the first Ram pickup since the early 90’s to not have the crosshair grille and while I was skeptical at first once I saw the Rebel in person I think it looks amazing. The interior of the Ram trucks has come such a long way in the last few years and the Rebel is just another step up. The tire tread accents in the seats are incredible. From a style standpoint this truck makes a statement that its capability can back up. The powder coated bumper, twin-snorkel Sport hood, and 17-inch silver and black aluminum wheels with 33″ Toyo Open Country all-terrain tires add to its off-road appeal. Under the hood you have the option of the 3.6L Pentastar V6 or the 5.7L HEMI V8 and it comes with active level four corner air suspension and Bilstein heavy duty front and rear shocks. Another great thing about the Rebel is that while it has all of its rugged appeal it also comes with luxury comforts like a heated steering wheel and heated seats.
How long have you been a part of the Rivershore Family? I have been apart of the Rivershore Family since November 2014. However, I have worked closely with the team here at Rivershore for many years.
Any other careers? This is my first time in the auto industry directly. I have worked alongside the industry for many years in newspaper and radio advertising.
Favorite 2015 Model and why? While the Chrysler Crossfire had limited appeal as a two seater roadster, it was a car I really liked. I would like to see a sporty convertible like it return to the lineup.
What previous model would you like to see them bring back? So far my favorite model is the 2015 Ram Hemi Sport “RR Edition”. It is an awesome truck with a lot of options and an outstanding price.
If you are not here working where can you usually be found? My hobby is fly fishing. If I am not fishing I am tying flies. Catching a trout on a fly I have tied myself is very satisfying. I also belong to a network of fly fishers who share tying a lake information in the Kamloops region.
Now that the renovations are pretty well finished what are you most enjoying? I look forward to a comfortable, appealing building for our customers.
How long have you been a part of the Rivershore Family? I have been apart of the Rivershore Family for just over a year now. This is my first foray into the automobile world and cannot be happier with the product line I am able to demonstrate to my clientele.
Any other careers? Prior to this career move I was a businessman (working Executive Chef – 21 years) with a Bistro and Nightclub at Sun Peaks, Macker’s on the Mountain and Mackdaddy’s Night Club. After we sold the building in 2009 I was hired as a consulting Chef and Food and Beverage Manager for Sagebrush Golf and Sporting Club in the Nicola Valley.
Favorite 2015 Model and why? By far my favorite 2015 model it the totally redone Chrysler 200 – sleek and sexy but with a ton of power and surprisingly great fuel economy.
If you are not here working where can you usually be found? Away from work I am an avid golfer, fly fishing addict, and in the winter I enjoy the life up at Sun Peaks.
Now that the renovations are pretty well finished what are you most enjoying? Having our full lot back and easier access to our inventory.
How long have you been a part of the Rivershore Family? 4 years on and off. I started while I was still in high school helping out on the lot as well as helping out in detail, cleaning the shop, gardening and driving customers. I have worked in the sales department for 5 months now.

Any other careers? I have previous retail experience and I worked as a Carpenters Apprentice for 2 years building cell towers all over BC.
Favorite 2015 Model and why? The 2015 Dodge Charger. It has a new body along with nice LED head lights, fresh interior style, and a computer inside that keeps track of all the engine components.
What previous model would you like to see them bring back? I would love to see them bring back the Dodge Omni GLHS.
If you are not here working where can you usually be found? While not working I spend time with my girlfriend, family and dogs. I like to drive around for fun in exciting vehicles. Music along with guitar and drums, hiking and spending time with friends.
Now that the renovations are coming to a close what are you most looking forward to? I am looking forward to having the newest dealership on the block as well as the Express Lane opening up. The new Wrangler displays are pretty cool too!!
How long have you been a part of the Rivershore Family? I joined the Rivershore team just over 3 years ago.
Any previous industry experience? No. I have spent most of my life in the restaurant and hotel business. I started working as a bus-boy/waiter at the Niakawa Hotel in Winnipeg while taking a Business Administration course at MIT. From there I worked as an accountant before purchasing the Blue River Hotel in 1971. In 1972 I moved to Clearwater where I purchased the Wells Gray Inn which I ran for 25 years. In 1999 I moved into Kamloops where I opened the Traditions Restaurant at the Comfort Inn, then the Grasshopper Pub and then I found my way here to Rivershore.
Favorite 2015 Model and why? I love my Jeep Grand Cherokee. It rides great, lots of room and all of the features are an added bonus!
If you are not here working where can you usually be found? I spend a lot of my free time golfing. Whether it be with friends or my four sons who are all great golfers! I also love to travel, especially Palm Springs, Hawaii and Australia. Over the years I have spent a lot of time playing slow pitch, skiing (both downhill and cross country) as well as lots of hunting and fishing. If I’m not doing any of that then I am probably in the kitchen cooking. I love entertaining and cooking for family and friends especially my grandsons and wife Barbara who I have been with for 54 years.
What other organizations and/or committees have you been involved with over the years? Over the years I have been very active with the Lions Club, Rotary Club, Toastmasters, Chamber of Commerce, Hotel Association, and Tourism BC.
How long have you been a part of the Rivershore Family? I have been at Rivershore since Feb 2014.
How long have you been working in the industry? I have only been in the industry since February. I have spent the last 13 years in the wireless industry as a Regional Manager, then eventually the General Manager of Staples here in Kamloops.
Favorite 2015 model so far and why? So far my favorite is the 2015 Charger Hellcat. I like luxurious speed, and room for the family is a bonus.
What previous model would you like them to bring back? I like the re-vamped muscle cars so I would love to see them bring back the Road Runner in a rear wheel drive platform.
What are you looking forward to most once the new reno’s are done? Being Kamloops’ most modern dealership. Our sales team has been working out of our future quick lube since June and our temporary customer lounge keeps getting moved around due to construction, so I am really looking forward to having a proper customer lounge and sales floor where our customers can have the best experience purchasing a vehicle or getting their service work done.
If you controlled the TV in the customer lounge what would be playing all day? If I were in control it would probably be playing Seinfeld or 24.
When you aren’t here where can you be found? When I am not here I am usually fishing, camping or spending time with my kids.
How long have you been a part of the Rivershore Family? I have been at Rivershore for the last 10 years.
How long have you been working in the industry? 10 years. I started here at Rivershore as a Salesman.
Favorite 2015 model so far and why? I am really excited about the 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat. I like fast cars so the Challenger has been a favorite of mine for a while now and with the addition of the Hellcat V8 they have turned it into the most powerful muscle car ever.
What previous model would you like them to bring back? I would like to see them build the Chrysler ME-412. It was a concept from about 10 years ago. Chrysler isn’t really known for sports cars that falls more to Dodge, so the ME-412 was a pretty spectacular concept to come out of Chrysler and it looked insanely cool!
What are you looking forward to most once the new reno’s are done? I can’t wait to have room to park cars, and I am really looking forward to getting into my new office.
When you aren’t here where can you be found? I spend the majority of my off time playing golf or hockey, and I love to travel.
